Bioherbal is a pure natural herbal remedy made of garlic, thyme, and lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) and a few other medicinal herbs. The drug contains an intelligent blend of herbal active ingredients so that its components can strengthen and amplify each other's therapeutic effects. The sulfur compounds of garlic are responsible for its well-known characteristic odor. Phytochemicals increase appetite by: (1) stimulating parasympathetic nerve terminals which transmit appetite signals to ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH), and (2) stimulating gastrointestinal mucosal receptors to synthesize Neuropeptide Y (NPY) which reaches VMH through bloodstream, increasing appetite and feed intake. Thymol and Carvacrol in thyme essential oil act as natural antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal agents, suppressing pathogens and inhibiting intestinal enteritis, reducing local inflammation. Bioherbal modifies microbial ecosystem, providing suitable conditions for beneficial bacteria growth while suppressing pathogenic bacteria, acting as a prebiotic. Contains flavonoids (chalcones, flavones, flavonols, isoflavones) as strong antioxidants preventing fatty acid oxidation and inhibiting harmful free radical formation. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) prevents protein damage by inhibiting reactive oxygen species accumulation.
