Anzofin is a natural-based drug made from active ingredients in rosemary, eucalyptus, and other herbs. The drug is formulated so its various components empower and enhance therapeutic effects through synergistic activity. Camphor and Camphene are natural terpenoids with bicyclic structure and similar physicochemical properties. Camphor acts as an agonist for TRP receptors (microscopic thermometers) which regulate cold and heat sensing and are associated with various physiological functions including substantial anti-inflammatory effects and relieving/relaxing effects. Since TRP receptors are predominantly found in neurons, their stimulation with natural agonists like Camphene results in pain relief and analgesic effects. Treatment with natural agonists such as Cineole causes significant reduction in airway inflammation and cough reflex.
