Dr. Khosravi is a distinguished Professor and Head of the Mycology Research Center with over 35 years of expertise in medical and veterinary mycology. His pioneering research focuses on fungal diseases, immunomodulatory effects of fungal compounds, and development of antifungal therapeutics. He has supervised 28 PhD theses and published over 300 scientific papers, making significant contributions to understanding fungal infections in both humans and animals.

He served as Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (1990-1998) and President of the Iranian Veterinary Association (1998-2002). His pioneering research focuses on coccidiosis control, probiotic development, and nutritional strategies for poultry production. He developed several innovations including VITAGEL nutritive gel, IRACOX vaccines, and BIOHERBAL growth promoter as antibiotic alternatives.
